Seven year old Alice, a highly reasonable person with an excellent imagination, finds herself in a new country where the rules of the game are entirely different. In her quest to become a Queen, she travels through the Looking Glass world, encountering eccentric inhabitants, a queer form of logic, battles, royalty, a white knight, and a great deal of poetry about fishes.
Seeking actors all ages and experience levels to play Lower East Side residents in a new outdoors music theater work, THE NEWS, based on newspaper stories from the LES 100 years ago. Non union, no pay. Rehearsals take place weekend afternoons; performances take place Saturday afternoons in May as part of Lower East Side History Month.

A company of eighteen young female actor/singers - 'The Bowery Birds' - are rehearsing 'THE WAISTMAKERS' OPERA' for Lower East Side History Month in May
- A dozen young singers are starting work recording 'THE NEWS', a new music theater work created by Ryan and Mike, built on ten songs - each inspired by a 1914 newspaper article about events on New York's Lower East Side. Outdoor staging will be developed for the recordings and we'll open street performances in May.
